Eamon McCormick is Red Hat’s North America Public Sector Technical Sales Leader and Senior Director. In this role, he leads Red Hat’s Technical Sales Specialists, Solution Architects, and Chief Architects who work closely with Public Sector organizations to deliver evolving, flexible, supportable, and consistent technology solutions.

Eamon has been in the technology industry for close to 25 years in various roles, including Software Developer, Consultant, Solution Architect, Technical Sales Specialist, Manager, and Organization Leader. Eamon was a Java developer in the early days of Java, a Solution Consultant working with the creators of Agile Development, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration, and a Technical Specialist, Evangelist and Leader during the rise of open source and DevSecOps. All of these experiences have led him to his current role leading advocates for open source, Agile, DevSecOps, event-driven architectures, container native applications, and more.
