Jeff Winterich is an Account Chief Technologist for the HPE Department of Defense Team. Jeff is responsible for providing strategic technology design and architecture expertise to HPE’s Federal Government customers, partners and systems integrators – focused on the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Combatant Commands. Mr. Winterich is very active with Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and serves as an AI Ambassador for the HPE Public Sector team and customers. As part of this role, Jeff leads go-to-market enterprise solution initiatives across HPE business units and HPE partners such as Intel, Red Hat, and NVIDIA.

Previous to his Chief Technologist role, Jeff served as an Enterprise Solutions Architect supporting HPE’s System Integrator (SIs) Presales Team. As a SA, Jeff advised on and designed complex enterprise architectures, including digital signal processing, high performance computing, tactical systems, and Edge computing.

Previous to HPE, Jeff worked for Dell as a Solutions Consultant supporting DoD CONUS and OCONUS customers for several years. His earlier career was highlighted with technical positions at Nortel, Harris Corporation and Silicon Graphics (SGI).

Mr. Winterich graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Jeff is a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Jeff and his wife Michelle reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
